The Newberg Game Con is back!
We couldn’t think of a more perfect way to ease into Fall than to share or find some new tabletop games to play. You may even spot a traveling Mana Cloud at the event!
This September we’ll be packing our traveling wares and hitting the road to bring some of our geek goodies to the Con. Additionally we’ll be running a whimsical anime-inspired RPG game at one of the tables (look for DM Travis running Obojima in the game room)!
About the Event:
Hobby Games of Newberg, in partnership with the George Fox University Library, is hosting the Newberg Game Con, 2024 fall edition. The event runs all day (8:00 AM to 7:00 PM), Saturday and Sunday, September 28 and 29. Registration will soon be available through tabletop.events (stay tuned for details!).
Attendees can play variety of board games and RPGs. There will be demos of new games as well as playtests of games in development. Bring your own games or select from the collection of games made available to the convention by the GFU library and members of Newberg Hobby Games. For those wishing to get a taste of games they haven’t tried before, dedicated tables for various RPGs and select board games will be available. Also, Expansions Games will be on hand so participants will have an opportunity to begin or add to their existing game collection.
